The Archer's Bow of Truth: May 26-June 1 Astrological Guide
This week, the celestial landscape is making major shifts, demanding we abandon the safety of outdated structures for the raw, unvarnished truth. As we navigate a series of high-stakes planetary alignments that act as a total cosmic truth serum, the friction you’ve been feeling is no accident—it is the necessary heat required to burn away everything that no longer holds weight. We are standing in the midst of a profound transformation, moving out of reactive analysis and into the lightning storm of alchemical growth; if you are ready to stop running from what your heart already knows and finally step into the tactical shift this energy requires, the path forward starts here.
Retrospective: May 18-24th
Last week, the heavens and the headlines were in lockstep, creating a staggeringly accurate blueprint that guided us through an intense period of structural tension and profound restructuring. As we look back on the period of May 18–24, 2026, the energy moved from high-friction avoidance to absolute, unavoidable confrontation, forcing systems—from the halls of power to the digital foundations of our society—to pause, pivot, and face the light. It wasn’t just a chaotic week; it was a week where the collective pressure demanded we find a new, tactical footing.
We saw this literal manifestation of energy in the Iran conflict, where early-week dread was fueled by reports of drone attacks and warnings that the "clock is ticking" (Al Jazeera, 2026). By May 19, President Trump announced he had called off a planned military strike at the request of Gulf Arab allies (NPR, 2026). By May 24, Trump stated a new deal was "largely negotiated" (Al Jazeera, 2026), however there is still no end in sight for negotiations. Furthermore, Israel is still breaking ceasefire with Lebanon and Palestine with US support, creating even more hostility in the region.
The theme of bringing hidden power imbalances into the light hit hard as Pluto activations pushed us toward accountability. We witnessed the systemic power dynamics shift when New Mexico officially opened new investigations into allegations of abuse at Jeffrey Epstein’s Zorro Ranch, following "fresh, credible allegations of systemic abuse" (NPR, 2026). Simultaneously, the legal landscape surrounding the Trump Administration saw major movement, including the IRS settling a massive lawsuit where the government agreed to drop pending tax claims against Trump, with a blasphemous agreement that the IRS is prevented from prosecuting Trump, his sons, and his businesses (NPR, 2026). This was announced at the same time as an "anti-weaponization fund" (NPR, 2026). This period truly pulled the shady legalities of the pigs at the top into the public eye.
Information and technology, ruled by our busy Gemini energy, were subject to intense re-ordering. The tech sector wasn't spared, as Meta announced a pivot that included cutting 8,000 jobs, further intensifying the late stage capitalist contradictions (NPR, 2026). Meanwhile, Google fundamentally altered the digital landscape by embedding AI directly into the main search box, amplifying disinformation (NPR, 2026). This, paired with Russia’s shock use of a hypersonic Oreshnik missile in a mass attack on Kyiv, underscored the aggressive high-tech developments we were bracing for (NPR, 2026).
Physical security and public health felt the weight of our T-Square energy, manifesting in distressing, sudden crises that forced collective action. A rare Ebola strain spread with "scale and speed" that deeply alarmed the World Health Organization (NPR, 2026), and by the weekend, the U.S. had begun rerouting international passengers from affected zones to designated screening airports (NPR, 2026). Tragically, a measles outbreak in Bangladesh also saw over 500 children lose their lives, a humanitarian crisis that experts warned was being "virtually ignored globally" (NPR, 2026).
The weekend brought a cascade of sudden, industrial disruptions that highlighted our physical vulnerabilities. In Southern California, a chemical tank leak forced over 40,000 residents under mandatory evacuation orders (NPR, 2026), while in New York City, a massive shipyard explosion resulted in the tragic loss of one life and 36 injuries (NPR, 2026). These events, along with a deadly coal mine explosion in China that killed at least 82 people (NPR, 2026), served as stark reminders of the sudden shifts and distressing moments inherent due to the ongoing polycrisis.
As we process the echoes of this week, it is clear that the chaos was not without purpose; it was the friction required to break down old, bloated systems. From the shifting geopolitical alliances to the aggressive restructuring of the AI bubble, we have been forced to look at the cracks in our foundation. The blueprint of the week forced us to stop and evaluate, and while the structural confrontation was intense, it was the necessary catalyst for finding a more sustainable path forward.

Energy Guide
We start out the week…
Still in the heat of the Nodal T-Squares initiated last week, with the opposition between the Sun-Uranus conjunction in Gemini and Lilith in Sagittarius pushing us to face our brutal truths in order to compel us out of our attachments to control (South Node in Virgo) and into non-resistance to the messy flow of life (North Node in Pisces). Recall what I said last week, about the harsh look backward and forced step forward? That's the nature of and reason for the hostility of these Nodal T-Squares. These Nodal T-Squares last through mid-day May 28th, and will shape the major change of the first half of the week.
Venus is still square to both Pallas and Saturn in Aries, and will be through May 31st and June 3rd respectively. The core of this tension lies in the challenge of harmonizing Cancer’s desire for somatic comfort and safety with Aries’ need for independent, bold action. The square between the Moon in Libra and Venus in Cancer on the 26th, as well as the opposition between that Libra Moon and Chiron in Aries on the 27th, will further amplify this on that day. These Venus squares will trigger the shadows of all of these astrological placements- emotional manipulation, control tactics, clinginess, possessiveness, grudges, people pleasing, masking, snap judgements, unhealed past wounds, cockiness, impulsivity, and burnout. These triggers will lead to the revelations of this Full Moon cycle.
This tension is lit on fire by the square between Mars and Pluto. With the planet of aggression in detriment squaring up with the planet of death, we can absolutely expect this to be a volatile transit. Mars is in detriment in Taurus due to the slow, fixed earth bogging down the planet’s assertive, bold movement. This could trigger disagreements, arguments, or unhealthy habits and behaviors (which could be mental and emotional such as unhealed shadows resurfacing, or could have to do with physical health). Furthermore, this will also take a whack at any unbalanced power dynamics. While this peaks on the 25th, we will feel this transit throughout June third, aka the end of this Full Moon cycle. Thus, whatever is initiated with the Mars-Pluto square will come full circle this Full Moon cycle.
I do not say all this to fear monger-
I share all this so that if you face any of these types of challenges this week, you are able to stay spiritually and somatically grounded enough to work through them. Additionally, while it may be dark, it is true that situations such as these could happen to anyone anytime. These are all things you should be aware of and plan accordingly for, given your time, health, and resources. With that said, I recommend taking a little bit extra time with everything you do this week. Move, act, and speak with intention. Ground through embodied presence with your senses. And don’t shy away from reflection, especially when it's hard (reflection does not equal overthinking, of course).
On top of being good habits to work on anyways, all of this plays into the strengths of the three other major aspect patterns of the 25th through 27th.
There are two Nodal Minor Triangles that bridge the South Node to the North Node through Mars and Venus. This becomes one of many escape routes from the hostility of the Nodal T-Square + Mars-Pluto square through the nurturing, sensitive waters of Venus in Cancer. These Nodal Minor Triangles have been active since last week, and will last through the 27th.
Also, on the 27th, there is a trine between the Moon in Libra and Mercury in Gemini. This provides harmonious, extremely detailed analytical prowess to help us navigate the volatility of the Nodal T-Square + Mars-Pluto square.
The trine between the Juno-Pluto conjunction in Aquarius and the Sun-Uranus conjunction in Gemini forms a Grand Trine as the Moon ingresses into Libra and immediately trines both transits. In the element of Air, this signals a harmonious flow in how we think, process, and communicate. This Grand Air Trine is on the back of the six year long outer planetary Minor Triangle, forming a Grand Kite. Sealed by an opposition between the Moon and a Vesta-Neptune-Pallas-Saturn stellium in Aries, the tension between airy detachment and fiery immersion is once again highlighted. However, given that Grand Kites are success builders through ample opportunity for resolution, the illuminatory, innovative, radical transformation of the Juno-Pluto conjunction and the Sun-Uranus conjunction shine light on even more escape routes from the hostility of the Nodal T-Square + Mars-Pluto square.
Furthermore, the Lilith Cradle was reignited on the 24th…
As she stationed direct in Sagittarius, sealed by that very same opposition between the Sun-Uranus conjunction in Gemini and Lilith in Sagittarius. This opposition once again highlights the battle between Sagittarian authenticity and the surface-level detachment of Gemini. This Cradle, however, gives the Nodal T-Squares and the Mars-Pluto square some healing. Lilith trines Vesta, Neptune, Pallas, and Saturn in Aries. Additionally, both Lilith and the Vesta-Neptune-Pallas-Saturn stellium in Aries sextile the Juno-Pluto conjunction in Aquarius. This creates a Minor Triangle that intersects with the six year long outer planetary Minor Triangle. Through the combination of nurturing of visionary reformative justice (Aries Stellium) and more equitable, mutually beneficial, transformative relationships (Juno-Pluto conjunction), the punches from the Nodal T-Squares and the Mars-Pluto square get reframed and redirected towards a more balanced way of being. This Cradle will last through the 31th, guiding us towards the revelations of this Full Moon.
This brings us to the start of this Full Moon Cycle…
On May 28th, Ceres ingresses into Gemini. Ceres is the Roman name for the Hellenistic Goddess Demeter, so it is based on the myth of Demeter and Persephone. Thus, Ceres rules motherhood, nourishment, grief, healing, and the cycle of the seasons. In Gemini, these qualities are expressed through mutable, adaptable, analytical, witty air. This will heighten the desire to intellectualize our emotions, but also openness to experimentation and discourse. Ceres will be in Gemini through August 12th.
Immediately after entering Gemini, Ceres joins the six year long outer planetary Minor Triangle by merging with the Sun-Uranus conjunction, trining Pluto and sextiling Neptune. Ceres will be a part of this Minor Triangle through mid June, nurturing the era-defining shifts starting this year.
That same day, the Mars-Pluto square is lit up by the Moon in Scorpio opposing Mars (in Taurus) and squaring Pluto (in Aquarius). This forms a T-Square, with Pluto as the heated release valve of the battle between deep, intimate intense transformation (Moon) and tangible actions, habits, and routines (Mars). Just as Mars is in its detriment, as we’ve discussed, so is the Moon in Scorpio. This is because the emotional, somatic, and spiritual security the Moon craves is met with constant transformation. Of course, Mars and Pluto co-rule Scorpio, which further intensifies the hostility of this T-Square. This is that full circle moment I talked about, when the triggers of Monday really start to hit home.
As the Moon enters Sagittarius, she begins to oppose the Ceres-Sun-Uranus stellium in Gemini and takes over for Lilith in the aforementioned Cradle. The opposition between airy detachment and fiery immersion reaches a climax, blowing the lid off hidden or ignored truths and pushing us into authenticity. While reactive, harsh instincts may be high, if they are triggered it is for the purposes of moving away from that nature and towards a more embodied, open presence. This Cradle is the birthmark of this Full Moon in Sagittarius, which peaks on May 31st.
As this Full Moon Cradle dissipates, Mercury ingresses into Cancer on June 1st. As the Moon’s home sign, Cancer symbolizes home, emotional intelligence, somatic security, sensitivity, comfort, caretaking, and intuition. This marks the beginning of the end of this Lunar Cycle, as well as a shift from logic to feeling when it comes to processing and communicating. Thus, this ingress provides the answer to the battle between detachment and immersion which has ruled the last two weeks- stepping out of analytical overthinking and into a flow state.
This answer is made clear by the Grand Kite formed when Mercury ingresses into Cancer. The Moon, at the very end of Sagittarius, becomes the base of the Kite and opposes Mercury, the Apex of the Kite. Still sextile Chiron in Aries, Mercury immediately makes another sextile to the South Node in Virgo. These become the wings of the Kite. The brutal honesty of the Sagittarius Full Moon forces us into face how you cannot out-think or logic out of your emotions through confrontation with outdated behaviors and habits, as well as unhealed past wounds. This Grand Kite lasts through June 2nd, carrying in the Full Moon’s revelations as we start next week.
Predictions
This week will absolutely have us facing the late stage capitalism contradictions head on.
There is a lot of manipulative energy heightened in the beginning of the week, which will likely be reflected by military action and strategy as well as political alliance, discourse, debate, and maneuvering.
This Full Moon will hit the US chart quite forcefully. Given that the US is in the midst of its Pluto, Uranus, and Neptune Returns, we are bound to see the Trump administration rollout more authoritarian control and patriarchal greed internationally and nationally. This will likely lead to major shifts in how the world and her people see and interact with the US as its Sagittarius ascendant is hit.
We should continue to see the US dig itself into it's own demise in the Iran War, as well as multiple human crises worsening at the hands of Israel, both entities egoically crossing points of no return with full force. This will likely stir more shifting global alliances and international callouts on the US and Israel.
China ends it's month of UN presidency after tense meetings with the US last week, and could be a part of these shifting alliances and international call outs. Furthermore, Russia's chart is also activated by this Full Moon, which could bring some volatility from the country-whether it be outright through the war on Ukraine, covert through the support of Iran, or both. More than likely, it will be both. We are likely to see communications and actions from the UAE in relation to the Iran War and the energy crisis as their Sagittarius and Gemini placements are activated. We might even see a revelation from the UK and/or France, such as a statement on the Iran War and/or energy crisis, or a development in the Epstein Files investigations.
With the Mars-Pluto square, we can absolutely expect the ongoing energy and supply chain crises to worsen. We can also expect public health scares, given the rising international Ebola epidemic in Africa.
We will definitely see this call for brutal honesty and distruption of the system taken to the streets. There are numerous international strikes and protests planned for the week ahead in France, Stockholm, Brussels, Argentina, Chihuahua, India, Melbourne, Casablanca, South Africa, and Tunisia. I'm sure we'll see this domestically in the US as well as more and more people hit their breaking point and stand up for whats right.
Overall, this Full Moon is here to bring earth-shattering shake ups, whether we are ready or not. We're still in the very beginning stages of this collective rebirth, so buckle up.
Historical Context
When we look at the explosive historical alignment of the Full Moon conjunct Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius opposing the Sun and Uranus in Gemini, we are looking at a celestial truth bomb. This is an unshakable cosmic tug-of-war. On one end, Lilith and the Sagittarius Full Moon demand raw, unfiltered authenticity, non-dogmatic freedom, and the revelation of deeply buried shadows. On the other, the Sun and Uranus in Gemini strike like a lightning bolt, bringing sudden, disruptive breakthroughs to our communications, intellectuality, and local environments. Looking back through history, we can see exactly how this alchemical friction forces old systems to break down so that radical, uncompromising truths can take root.
In the ancient and classical eras, this axis manifested as profound technological disruption clashing with the fiery demand for autonomy. During the early summer of 398 BCE, the Gemini urge for tactical innovation was on full display in Sicily, as Dionysius I of Syracuse deployed state-of-the-art siege machinery and organized massive mercenary forces during his campaigns (Diodorus Siculus, 1939). Meanwhile, the Sagittarian cry for freedom echoed in Asia Minor, where the Spartan general Dercylidas actively campaigned to guarantee the autonomy of Ionian Greek city-states (Encyclopaedia Britannica, 2021). By early summer 690 CE, the ultimate taboo-breaking energy of Lilith took center stage in China when Buddhist monks presented Empress Wu Zetian with the Great Cloud Sutra (Twitchett and Wechsler, 1979). This prophetic text was widely distributed during this astrological window, shattering patriarchal dogma and legitimizing her formal usurpation of the Tang throne later that year (Twitchett and Wechsler, 1979).
As we move into the medieval era, the Lilith-Full Moon conjunction aggressively illuminated deep-seated familial shadows and power struggles. In the first week of June 858 CE, King Louis the German dragged buried animosities into the light, intensifying military preparations to invade his own half-brother’s West Frankish Kingdom by capitalizing on disgruntled nobility (Nelson, 1992). The Gemini energy of localized rebellion also flared powerfully in early June 1026 CE, when German monarch Conrad II conducted military operations to violently suppress the hostile, rebellious northern Italian commune of Pavia (Wolfram, 2006).
We see these intense family shadows burst into public view again in late May 1106 CE, functioning as the ultimate Gemini duality of battling brothers. King Henry I of England spent this specific week gathering heavy financial levies to fund a full-scale military expedition to Normandy, aiming to permanently depose his brother, Duke Robert Curthose (Hollister, 2001). Simultaneously, Emperor Henry IV was forced to seek refuge from a massive civil rebellion led by his very own son, Henry V (Fuhrmann, 1986). This was another deeply raw, and radical crisis that mirrors Lilith’s thematic energy of deep betrayal and hidden family shadows bursting into public view, as well as Uranian innovation and shock.
This exact astrological signature also rules the dialectic bridging of grand ideologies and the literal unearthing of buried secrets to force a sudden restructuring of power. During the late-May window of 1274 CE, Pope Gregory X and theologians held intense closed-door negotiations regarding the proposed reunion with the Eastern Orthodox Church, perfectly capturing the Sagittarius and Gemini axis (Setton, 1976). Fast forward to June 1442 CE, and we see King Alfonso V of Aragon triumphantly capture Naples (Ryder, 1990). Lit up by Lilith and the Full Moon, his troops achieved this sudden, Uranian overthrow by sneaking in through an abandoned, underground aqueduct—literally illuminating a buried, hidden path to seize power (Ryder, 1990). Immediately after breaching the city, Alfonso pivoted to Gemini-style local management by issuing targeted pardons to restore civic order (Ryder, 1990).
The whiplash of Uranus in Gemini is perhaps best illustrated by the sudden logistical shockwaves of the early seventeenth century. On June 7, 1610, facing extreme famine during the "Starving Time," the final sixty survivors of Jamestown boarded ships to permanently abandon the Virginia settlement (Fiske, 1897). Yet, in an absolute textbook Uranus in Gemini lightning bolt, they encountered the incoming ships of Lord De La Warr the very next day—packed with fresh supplies and new settlers—forcing an immediate reversal and the formal reoccupation of Jamestown on June 9 (Fiske, 1897). Across the Atlantic, Queen Marie de' Medici perfectly channeled Lilith’s fierce autonomy by rapidly stepping out of the shadow of King Henry IV’s assassination to consolidate her power as Queen Regent during this exact week (Baadj, 2015).
Finally, we arrive at the iteration of this archetypal showdown of during the American Revolution, where the uncompromising stance of Lilith meets the disruptive shifts of Uranus. In early June 1778, the British Carlisle Peace Commission arrived in Philadelphia offering the Continental Congress full internal self-governance to stop the war (Middlekauff, 2005). Channeling Lilith's fiercely non-dogmatic demand for absolute liberty, Congress adamantly refused to even negotiate unless Britain formally recognized American independence or completely withdrew its military forces (Middlekauff, 2005). Because of this unyielding stance and the imminent threat of a French naval blockade, British General Henry Clinton was forced into a massive strategic retreat, finalizing the chaotic logistics the exact same week as this cosmic signature to evacuate his 15,000-man army out of Philadelphia (Middlekauff, 2005).
From ancient siege engines to revolutionary declarations of independence, the blueprint of this alignment is breathtakingly consistent. It proves that the chaos we feel under these transits is not without purpose; it is the exact friction required to break down old, bloated systems. The Lilith-Full Moon conjunction in Sagittarius refuses to let us hide in comfortable compromises, dragging our deepest truths and wounds into the light. Meanwhile, the Sun-Uranus conjunction in Gemini ensures that once the truth is out, the physical, tactical, and communicative landscapes of our lives will radically and suddenly shift to accommodate it. It is a cosmic demand to stop running from what your heart is telling you, to sever ties with draining dynamics, and to boldly step into the lightning storm of your own alchemical growth.
Spiritual Task
We find ourselves in the heart of a cosmic crucible where the chaos is not merely surrounding us—it is calling us to participate in a profound architectural reconstruction of our own lives. As we move through the fiery, truth-seeking intensity of the Sagittarius Full Moon, the spiritual task at hand is to cultivate the courage to be non-compliant with the outdated systems that no longer serve our collective evolution. This is not a time for polite compromise or spiritual bypassing; it is an invitation to look directly at the shadows that have been dragged into the light, acknowledging that the friction we feel is the exact, necessary pressure required to break down our internal and external prisons.
The task is to balance the Gemini-induced urge for intellectual analysis with the raw, Sagittarian need for absolute truth. As the Sun and Uranus join forces to illuminate the cracks in our foundational beliefs, your challenge is to shift from reactive fight or flight mechanics toward an embodied, intuitive presence. It is time to stop running from what your heart is telling you about the draining dynamics in your personal and political spheres. When the lightning storm of Uranian change strikes, the goal is not to fix the old structure, but to let it burn away so that you may build your footing on more authentic, sustainable ground.
Grounding this energy is paramount, especially as we navigate the Mars-Pluto square’s volatile pressure. You are asked to practice discernment—not as a tool for judgment, but as a form of sacred protection for your time, health, and emotional resources. Move with intention, act with clarity, and speak with the weight of your own integrity. If you feel the urge to retreat into intellectualization or to mask your true feelings behind a polite facade, recognize this as a defensive reaction and choose instead to sit within the discomfort of your own truth. True alchemy requires that you remain in the heat of the process without losing your centeredness.
As we move toward the Grand Kite integration on June 1st, your spiritual work culminates in the transition from logic to feeling. The Sagittarius Full Moon’s truth serum will leave nothing hidden, but the healing—the real, lasting growth—happens when we channel that revelation into the nurturing, intuitive waters of Cancer. This is the shift from figuring it out to feeling it through. Allow yourself to articulate your wounds, release the grip on outdated habits that you’ve been clinging to for a sense of false security, and step boldly into the alchemical growth that this lunation demands. You are being asked to step into a more authentic way of being, no matter how uncomfortable the light may be.

Weekly Reflections
Reflection 1
Shadow Work Prompt: Identify an area of your life where you are currently clinging to an old system—a habit, relationship, or belief structure that feels draining or outdated. Ask yourself: What am I truly afraid will happen if I allow this structure to fall away entirely? What does my fear of this transition reveal about my deep-seated need for control?
Mantra: I release the need to protect the old, and I surrender to the necessary fire of my own transformation.
Reflection 2
Shadow Work Prompt: Reflect on a situation where you felt an impulse to engage in reactive, controlling, or people-pleasing behavior. How did that impulse manifest physically in your body? In what ways was this reaction a defensive mechanism intended to protect your time and emotional resources, and how can you reframe this energy into a grounded, intentional boundary moving forward?
Mantra: I observe friction without judgment, protecting my energy with presence, clarity, and intentional action.
Reflection 3
Shadow Work Prompt: Consider a recent challenge you tried to solve through excessive intellectualization. How did that approach impact your emotional health? Write about what you might have solved it if you had allowed yourself to sit in the discomfort of that feeling without rushing to define or resolve it through logic.
Mantra: I step out of the cycle of overthinking and into the flow of my intuition; I trust my feelings to guide me home.

Somatic Practice
Recognizing the Friction
Find a quiet space where you can stand or sit comfortably for 5–10 minutes. If you can, stand barefoot on the floor or ground to facilitate a stronger connection to the earth.
Begin by scanning your body for the physical manifestations of the week’s tension. Notice where you are holding brutal truths as physical bracing—perhaps in your jaw, your shoulders, or your gut.
As you inhale, mentally name the friction. As you exhale, make a conscious, audible sigh, releasing the held breath. Imagine that each exhale is releasing the outdated structures, environments, relations, habits, and behaviors you are ready to move past. Repeat this 5 times, focusing on softening the areas where you feel armoring.
Anchoring in the Body
Slowly shift your weight from your toes to your heels, and side to side. Feel the texture of the floor beneath you.
With each slow, deliberate movement, whisper or think to yourself: "I am here. I am solid. I am not my thoughts."
When you feel somatically steady, place one hand over your heart and one hand over your lower belly. Feel the rise and fall of your breath beneath your palms. This is your internal compass.
The Release
Stand or sit with your feet hip-width apart. Shake your hands, then your arms, then your whole body. Visualize yourself shaking off the debris of the week’s intellectual loops and residual stress.
As you shake, allow yourself to make any sound that wants to come out—a hum, a growl, a scream, or whatever feels right for you. This mimics the lightning storm of alchemical growth, clearing the path for new insights.
Integrating the Calm
Stand or sit completely still.
Bring your awareness to your heart and belly again. Notice if the temperature or tension has shifted.
Close of with intention by stating internally or aloud: "I am safe to flow with the tides of life"
Carry this physical groundedness with you as you step back into your day, using your physical sensations as the primary gauge for your next, most authentic move.
