Composting the Empire: May 11-17 '26 Astrology Guide

We find ourselves navigating the jagged edges of a dying world-system this week, caught between the rattling sabers of a failing empire and the steady pulse of our own internal compasses. From the state’s desperate attempts to colonize our bodies and minds to the AI bubble finally popping under its own weight, the astrology of early May is shouting what our souls already know: the old structures aren't just broken—they’re terminal. In this guide, we’ll trace the historical echoes of this week’s potent New Moon activation, dissect the shadow-work of an planetary "trial by fire", and ultimately confront the spiritual task of allowing the rot to become the compost for our collective rebirth. The revolution isn't coming; it's already happening.

Retrospective: May 4th-10th

We spent this week navigating the jagged edges of a dying world-system while trying to find the steady pulse of our own internal compasses. As the Mars-Jupiter square peaked on Monday, the intense hit to security I warned about manifested as a literal threat of annihilation. While the Supreme Court gave the abortion pill mifepristone a “one-week reprieve” (NPR, 2026), restoring temporary telehealth access, the administration was busy rattling sabers. Trump’s vow that Iran would be “blown off the face of the Earth” (Al Jazeera, 2026) if it touched U.S. vessels perfectly illustrated that reckless drive for bold action over nurturing growth. The IMF was quick to ground us in the reality of this ego-driven conflict, warning that if this war lasts until 2027, “we have to expect a much worse outcome” (Al Jazeera, 2026) for the global economy.

By Tuesday, as the Moon squared Neptune and Mercury squared Pluto, the delusions of grandeur from the pigs at the top became impossible to ignore. We saw the state attempting to colonize the future of the collective body in Wyoming, where lawmakers used pro-natalist arguments to justify a partial abortion ban, claiming that without it, “we just become a stagnant or an aging slash dying state” (NPR, 2026). Meanwhile, technological realms were under siege. The lawsuit filed by Scott Turow and major publishers against Meta highlighted the shadowy theft of our collective intellect through the AI bubble and it’s popping (NPR, 2026). This is the Mercury-Pluto pressure in action—forcing us to transform how we process and communicate technologically.

Wednesday marked the pivotal stationing of Pluto retrograde, shifting the revolution from the streets to the psyche. While we were being told to look inward, the state was looking for new enemies. The White House’s new Counter-Terrorism Strategy began targeting what it calls “violent left-wing radicals” and the “'Red-Green' alliance” (WhiteHouse.gov, 2026), a clear attempt by the state to map and decimate those who stand against the status quo. This weaponization of intelligence was mirrored by the unearthing of old shadows, as Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick was grilled over his past “island lunch” (NPR, 2026) with Jeffrey Epstein. It was a literal manifestation of Pluto digging through the trash of the elite to show us their immorality.

As the Mars-Chiron conjunction tightened on Thursday, the survival wounds of the marginalized were poked with a hot iron. In Tennessee, the signing of a law to create a “state database of trans patients” sparked fears that it would “make it easy to target gender-affirming doctors” (LGBTQNation, 2026). Simultaneously, Border Czar Tom Homan leaned into the ruthless energy of the week, declaring that “Mass deportations are coming” (NPR, 2026). This is the eugenicism of the Global West I’ve spoken about; it is the pigs at the top digging their heels in to protect an exclusionary identity. Even the Vatican wasn't safe from the friction, as Marco Rubio attempted to play diplomat after Trump accused Pope Leo XIV of being “terrible on foreign policy” (NPR, 2026) because of the Pontiff's appeals for peace.

Friday’s ingress of the Moon into Aquarius forced a cold ruthlessness into the light. We saw the structural limits of our democratic illusions when the Virginia Supreme Court struck down an independent redistricting amendment, ruling that a procedural error “incurably taints the resulting referendum vote” (NPR, 2026). But as the old structures tightened, the unseen began to leak through. The Pentagon’s release of UFO files included reports of technology that “cannot be credited to any presently known culture on earth” (NPR, 2026). This is the Aquarian innovation and the shattering of old illusions I told you to expect.

By Saturday, the battle between who we were and who we feel called to become moved into the cultural and international arena. The Venice Biennale became a flashpoint for the collective, opening amid a “full jury resignation” (NPR, 2026) and widespread boycotts over geopolitical crimes. Across the pond, late stage patriarchal, colonial capitalism exemplified itself as Keir Starmer’s Labour Party suffered “historic losses” (NPR, 2026) in local elections, losing over 1,100 seats as the public reacted to a weak economy and "backlash over his appointment of an ambassador with ties to Jeffrey Epstein" (NPR, 2026). This led to the pro-Trump right wing party gaining 1,400 seats (NPR, 2026). It was a clear call out, for better and worse, from the people who are tired of the same old rot dressed in different colors.

We ended the week on Sunday with the Compassionate Pisces Moon attempting to alchemize this mountain of shadow work. As the Sun-Jupiter sextile peaked, we began to see the beneficial alliances I mentioned taking a fragile shape, even as the world remains in a state of polycrisis. The chaos of the Strait of Hormuz, the hantavirus outbreak on the MV Hondius, and the "chilling" of free speech (NPR, 2026) are all symptoms of the same crumbling system. But remember: the revolution is not televised because it is happening within (Gil Scott Heron). It's in how you choose to detach from these dying systems and align with your own authenticity, a journey which starts internally.

Daily Energy Guide

We start out Monday May 11…

With the creation of the seed which will be planted by the 16th during the New Moon.

We have a tense one day T-Square, with the Moon in Pisces as the apex, and Lilith as well as Venus both becoming the wings. Lilith represents the exiled, suppressed, and untamed parts of our psyche; our ultimate shadow side. In the truth seeking, exploratory, philosophical mutable fires of Sagittarius, Lilith brings forth the questioning of beliefs, rebellion against dogma, raw honesty, extreme impatience, and self-righteousness. Which is why the tension of Lilith’s opposition to the surface level, detached, fickle shadow sides of Venus in Gemini. The immensely heated release valve of this tension is the apex of this T-Square, the Moon in Pisces. This all points to a disruption of our inner emotional and somatic balance due to the pressure of the struggle between personal freedom and social life expectations hitting a head.

This Pisces Moon has some help though, as it is also a wing of a one day Minor Triangle with the other wing being Jupiter in Cancer and the apex as the Sun-Mercury conjunction. While known for its rulership of Sagittarius, Jupiter is the Hellenistic ruler of Pisces. Jupiter is at home in this mutable water sign as its expansive nature has boundless, immersive, intuitive, compassionate oceans to grow through and with. Given the similar nurturing, homey waters of Cancer, Jupiter is exalted in Cancer. Something else to note is that of course, the Moon rules Cancer. This all means that the Moon and Jupiter are in mutual reception on Monday. As they trine each other and sextile the Sun-Mercury conjunction, the Moon and Jupiter bring opportunities to achieve the apex’s goal of alignment between our core identity and higher awareness. This shapes the rest of this week, and is reactivated on the day of the New Moon by its sextile to Jupiter. Thus, the inner dysregulation and imbalance triggered by the aforementioned T-Square becomes an opportunity for major personal growth.

All of this powerful, potent cosmic energy will likely bring awakenings, enlightenment, the revealing of buried truths, and the complete conceptualization of ideas- in order to alchemize what no longer serves us into that which will.

Lilith is currently conjunct the US Sibly Chart Ascendant, and both Mercury and the Sun are conjunct their own placements in the Israel natal chart. This leads me to say that a dark truth concerning the US-Israel ties will be highlighted not just Monday, but the New Moon in Taurus on the 16th. Furthermore, the BRICS group’s and the UN’s natal charts both have Cancer placements conjunct transiting Jupiter. So we can definitely expect nations of both organizations, or the organizations themselves, revealing their plans for restabilization, maybe even choosing a side in the Iran War- whether it be through official announcements and action, or through passive aggressive action centered around resources such as energy, money, or allyship.

Personally, know that whatever truth which slaps you in the face today is not for you to get overwhelmed by, it's for your growth. Remember, growth is not often comfortable, but is more than often worth it.

This energy carries through the day and mid-evening of Tuesday May 12…

Until the Moon enters Aries and links up with the era defining six year Minor Triangle, merging with the Saturn-Neptune conjunction apex. This triple conjunction arrives to give us the passionate, courageous drive we need to cauterize the wounds from the triggers of the day prior.

I use the word cauterize with the utmost intention. The wings of this Minor Triangle are still the innovative and disruptive Uranus in Gemini as well as the radically transformative Pluto in Aquarius. Whether it be through the application of intense heat, cold, or chemicals, the pain of intentionally creating a scab and its resulting uncomfortable inconvenience is the seal we need to stop the hemorrhaging, destroy harmful remnants, and promote healing growth.

Both the UN, China, the UAE, and Iran have natal placements loosely conjunct transiting Saturn in Aries. Furthermore, Russia’s natal moon is currently conjunct Pluto in Aquarius, and the US’s Uranus return has only just begun. Thus, we are likely to see major organized discussions and actions from these state entities, likely surrounding the Iran War and its resulting global destabilization. We may also see that nationally here in the US through developments concerning ICE, the Epstein files, the Jim Crow era gerrymandering, attacks on free speech, or other attacks on human rights.

Personally, lean into the reimagining energy of Neptune, Pluto, and Uranus. Additionally, with the peak of the Mercury-Jupiter sextile of Tuesday, try to be open enough to fly into a bird’s eye view of that which was revealed or dug up yesterday, so that you can see the full picture of what needs to be let go of for the healing and growth of your inner garden.

The Moon takes her time transitioning out of the years long Minor Triangle the next day, Wednesday May 13th…

As she trines Lilith, emphasizing the healing that comes from listening to your shadows and honoring your truth. This is further emphasized by Vesta’s ingress into Aries, marking a shift into focusing the devotion of our energy into fostering self-assurance, achieving personal goals, and fighting for what you believe in. Additionally, we have the Pallas-Pluto sextile pushing us towards the liberation of radical authenticity and the active pursuit of justice. This sextile of course re-activates that outer planetary Minor Triangle, becoming one of many opportunistic steps to break out of our current exploitative ways of life.

Collectively, we are likely to see the continuation and fallout of the international and national developments of the day prior, with more details and hidden truths coming to light. Furthermore, we may see discourse and actions of seeking justice by everyday people, whether they be independent people or organized masses, online or in person.

Personally, Wednesday is a great day for alchemization of the triggers that Monday brought. Remember the bird’s eye view I mentioned yesterday? Now is time to start putting the insight you gathered to use. Whether it be through shadow work, meditation, somatic practice, or otherwise, take some time on the 13th to pull out your healing toolbox and do what you need to in order to release what no longer serves you and your highest good.

This brings us to Thursday May 14th…

When the Moon makes its final moves in Aries for a month. Now squaring Jupiter, the Moon initiates a struggle between our desire to pioneer the new beginning we’re being called towards and our emotional security. This is lit up by the Moon’s merging with the Mars-Chiron conjunction, highlighting the individualistic survival wounds which run our daily routines.

There is, however, a sextile between the Moon in Aries and Venus in Gemini, offering some healing guidance to navigating this pressure through adaptability, ingenuity, and openness. Furthermore, we don’t just have the peak of the Sun-Mercury conjunction that day- we have Ceres’ nurturing love joining the Taurus mixer. As Venus rules Taurus, it’s sensuality in the fixed earth sign will bring some much needed harmonious groundedness to the truths, realizations, and revelations this week has brought. We end the day with the Moon ingressing into Taurus, marking a shift from the impulsive, impatient fires of Aries into the determined, reliable soil of Taurus.

We can expect more international discourse surrounding the Iran War and its fallout, as well as an up in organized action from all parties involved. We are likely to see the ongoing Cold US Civil and World Wars heat up and melt as the sides of each war take form due to the Iran War and overall US fascism. Additionally, we will probably see more organized action from the masses.

Personally, Thursday is the follow up to the release initiated the day prior. It brings a heavy reminder that healing isn’t always pretty, is indeed cyclical, and thus is all the more necessary. Remember that you are more than your past, mistakes, achievements, thoughts, emotions, mind, and body. You are not just an amalgamation of all that; you are so much more. Allow yourself to change and grow, knowing that you are always moving towards a truer, more authentic, more liberated you.

This leads us to Friday, May 15th…

When the Moon in Taurus squares Pluto in Aquarius, creating a clash between the earthly stability we crave and the winds of change we must follow. This clash once again activates that outer planetary Minor Triangle, becoming another step of the long stairwell out of capitalism through a harsh look backward and forced foot forward. The Moon’s sextile to the collective North Node further shines a light on the necessity of this discomfort as part of our evolution.

As late stage capitalism continues to reach its limits, the painful contractions of death and rebirth sharpen. The resulting, ongoing polycrisis is affecting the entire globe, pushing the masses out of passivity and into action.

While the tensions of the Moon-Pluto square will likely be external, the revelations of today should be more internal. I’m sure we’ll see more developments surrounding the Iran War and international fallout, as well as more organized action from people [whether that be elected representatives, protests of the masses, or both]. These developments are bound to cause a stir, and will highlight the uncomfortable yet inevitable path ahead.

However the late stage capitalism contradictions are hitting you, remember the distressing yet true reality that these systems have always been and will continue to be unsustainable. Recall that you are not alone in this struggle, and connect deeper with your community. And retain the understanding that the only way out of the mud is through it.

Which sets the scene for the Saturday May 16th New Moon in Taurus…

This New Moon sextiles the expansive brilliance of Jupiter before becoming a part of a powerful planetary trio as it joins the Sun-Mercury conjunction right as it peaks. The Sun represents our core vitality, identity, and the ego-consciousness of the collective. Mercury acts as the great communicator, the processor of information, and the architect of all forms of technology as well as communication. The New Moon is the fertile, dark soil where profound intention setting and deep introspection take root. Taurus, a fixed earth sign ruled by Venus, symbolizes sensuality, determination, and materialistic matters such as money and the societal systems they run.

Due to the consistent aid of the fixed fertile earth sign, the Moon is exalted in Taurus. Furthermore, this New Moon is an extremely potent new beginning. It is at 25 degrees, an Aries degree. Aries is the Martian ruled cardinal fire sign that kicks off the entire zodiac wheel. It is the energy of the pioneer, the warrior, the bold initiator. When you inject the fiery, courageous passion of Aries into the stubborn, foundational earth of Taurus, you get nutrient rich soil, fertilized from the ashes of what’s been burned. The most fertile ground for growing seeds.

This fertile ground is attentively nurtured by a sextile between the devotion of Vesta and the innovation of Uranus. Re-activating and joining the six year long outer planetary Minor Triangle throughout the rest of this moon cycle, Vesta will help us complete the alchemization of the triggers of this week through a boost in our levels of dedication and commitment. The same Minor Triangle is further ignited by the Moon ingressing into Gemini and conjoining Uranus at the end of the day.

We are likely to see the culmination of the tensions of this week. This should entail further revealing of the dark truths of the US-Israel agenda and the Iran War. It likely will also result in intense international fallout, marking a turning point in the heating up of the ongoing “Cold” US. Civil and World Wars. We can expect decisive, organized action from people and entities all over the world, whether they be international governments and their representatives or the masses fighting for justice.

Personally, don’t shy away from truths- your truth, harsh truths, unconscious truths, and/or hidden truths- no matter how raw they are. Whether it be to yourself or others, speak and honor these truths and/or your truth. Furthermore, stand firmly in your authenticity with groundedness and unconditional love.

We end the week on May 17th…

With the beginning of another moon cycle. As the Moon is still conjunct Uranus, she sextiles the Saturn-Neptune conjunction and trines Pluto, reminding us of the necessity of the growth which has been initiated as well as the opportunities for innovation which this growth presents. This is further processed and communicated by Mercury as it leaves the Sun and the sign of Taurus to ingress into its domicile of Gemini and merge with the Moon-Uranus conjunction. However, the expression brought by Mercury may ruffle some feathers.

This Gemini Moon also squares the North Node in Pisces as well as opposes Lilith in Sagittarius. Returning back to energies of Pisces and Sagittarius, recall how both are ruled by Jupiter. Pisces is watery immersive expansion, Sagittarius is fiery outward expansion. North Node in Pisces is all about embracing faith, spiritual surrender, and releasing control. As we spoke about, Lilith in Sagittarius raises the questioning of beliefs, rebellion against dogma, raw honesty, extreme impatience, and self-righteousness. Keeping all this in mind, the tension of the Moon’s square to the North Node and opposition to Lilith both boil down to a battle between surface level detachment and the raw, messy yet heartwarming nature of authentic connection.

We close out this week with the understanding that life is messy, and to avoid them only creates bigger messes. It's not the cliche “things are about to get messy”- our lives and world are a mess, and it’s our job to do our part to clean it up. What that looks like will obviously be different depending on who you are. For the pigs at the top, it's the fascism which drives the exploitative social systems of today. For everyone else, it's stepping into the role you are meant to play in this collective rebirth. Remember, you don’t have to do it all. You just have to get started and do what you can.

Historical Context

This week, we are standing at the precipice of a profound cosmic and earthly initiation. We are experiencing a potent triple conjunction between the Sun, Mercury, and a New Moon at 25 degrees of Taurus. To understand the magnitude of this astrological transit, we have to look back at the historical seeds planted under this exact same alignment. History shows us that this specific cosmic signature is the breeding ground for the death and rebirth of empires.

Our first undeniable historical echo is the rise of state-sanctioned Christianity and the war on expression. In 394 CE, Emperor Theodosius legally erased paganism, and in 815 CE, the Byzantine state mandated exactly what a "true" Christian was during the Second Iconoclasm. This reflects the paranoia of the treason trials under Tiberius in 22 CE, as well as the McCarthyism of the 1950 Red Scare. These historical moments are all a part of the blueprint for modern Christian Nationalism. The state uses its Sun, its ego and power, to enforce a rigid, exclusionary identity by weaponizing the law to slash human rights. The current administration's blatant attacks on trans rights, bodily autonomy, and free speech are not new—they are the desperate, patriarchal echoes of a decaying empire trying to enforce a singular, colonial truth by purging “the other."

Simultaneously, this alignment always triggers massive shifts in Mediterranean hegemony which sparks fierce maritime and landbased resistance. In 475 BCE, the Delian League transitioned maritime power to Athens, and in 1282 CE, the Sicilian Vespers ignited a massive uprising that expelled a land-based authoritarian power from maritime dominance. These were dramatic political shifts where the masses refused to let themselves, their land, and their livelihoods to be treated as disposable assets for foreign empires. Today, this is reflected by the Cold World War (which is increasingly less cold), the US government's unshakeable ties to Israel, and the Iran War. Yet, just like in 1282, the resistance is here. The collective is waking up. The (again, increasingly less cold) Cold US Civil War we are feeling is the result of more and more people—from protesting masses to dissenting representatives—speaking up against the chokehold of US fascism.

This control is violently maintained through the weaponization of technology. In 350 BCE, Philip of Macedon used the technological innovation of the phalanx to turn his army into a mechanized force of dominance, and in 690 CE, Empress Wu utilized her informant box to build an inescapable intelligence apparatus. Today, we are living through the another manifestation of this shadow: the AI bubble and the ubiquitous surveillance state. Our Mercury—our technology, our data, our communication—has been hijacked by the capitalist class to bypass our basic human rights. The algorithms are designed to keep us paralyzed, divided, and easily extracted from, proving that when the intellect of Mercury serves the greed of shadow Taurus, innovation simply becomes the architecture of our own imprisonment.

All of these threads inevitably lead us to the final, terminal diagnosis: the collapse of our foundational institutions. The ancient land crisis of 103 BCE and the literal auctioning off of the Roman Empire to the highest bidder in 193 CE broke the back of Roman society. These Taurus themes were also reflected in the Byzantine Empire's struggle to collect taxes during the plague of 565 CE, and the 1855 Chicago tornado that devastated the illusion of man-made stability, and the picture is crystal clear. This is the terminus of capital; late-stage capitalism’s inevitable results staring us in the face. The massive wealth gap, the privatization of our survival, and the slashing of environmental protections for short-term profit are not just bad policies—they are the fatal wounds of a system that has eaten itself alive. You cannot infinitely extract from a finite planet. The crises we are facing is the earth and her life rebelling against its captors.

All this history reflects the overwhelming polycrisis collision of Christian nationalism, imperialist proxy wars, weaponized tech, and late-stage capitalist decay which we are navigating today. This history further proves the undeniability of the imminent and unavoidable collapse of the patriarchal, colonial, capitalist societal structure. The system is not broken; it is functioning exactly as it was designed to, through extraction, exploitation, and supremacy. But its time is up. It is currently in its absolute death throes, thrashing violently because it knows it cannot survive the limits of its own unsustainable nature.

This New Moon in Taurus at the 25th degree of Aries fire marks the beginning of the end. It is the cosmic match dropped into the powder keg of our failing institutions. For so long, the people have tried to prevent this unraveling. Americans have voted, petitioned, and tried to negotiate with a machine that has no soul, hoping we could reform the rot out of the wood. But this alignment is a wake-up call that we cannot save a house built on a poisoned foundation. The unraveling is here, and it is necessary. It is the clearing of the brush so the forest can breathe again.

This means our work is no longer about saving the old world; it is about aggressively and tenderly midwifing the new one. We must lean into the Aries courage of this decan and do the deep, uncomfortable, and radical decolonization work within ourselves and our communities. We have to divest our energy, our minds, and our spirits from the dying paradigms of capitalism and coloniality.

Spiritual Task

The spiritual task before us is one of radical surrender. We are conditioned to believe that saving something is the ultimate virtue, but when that thing is a parasitic structure built on extraction and exclusion, saving it is an act of self-harm. Your task this week is to stop clutching the burning beams of a house that was never meant to hold your soul. The panic you feel—the jagged edges of the polycrisis, the rattling sabers, the legislative attacks on our bodies—is the friction of the old world trying to drag you down into its grave. Stop resisting the collapse. When you try to fix a dying system, you only offer up your own vitality as a life-support machine for a corpse.

Instead, you must learn the sacred art of allowing the rot. In nature, decomposition isn't a failure; it’s a requirement for fertility. The Sun, Mercury, and this New Moon in Taurus are hitting that 25-degree Aries point, signaling a literal "trial by fire" for our intentions. This is your invitation to look at the parts of your life that are still tethered to the capitalist, colonial “dream" and realize they are were imagined in a fictional reality. Let them become the compost for the future. You are not losing your security; you are being stripped of your illusions so that you can finally stand on the solid ground of your own sovereignty.

Step into this initiatory fire with your eyes wide open. This week’s energy isn't about passive waiting; it’s about the Aries pioneer meeting the Taurus builder. Use the heat of these global triggers to cauterize your own wounds of unworthiness and compliance. Where have you been quiet to stay safe? Where have you outsourced your power to institutions that see you as a data point or a resource? Reclaim those pieces of yourself now. The spiritual work is to become so deeply rooted in your own authenticity that the shaking of the external world cannot uproot you.

Finally, understand that your inner revolution is the blueprint for the outer one. As you divest your spirit from the dying paradigms of supremacy and greed, you create the psychic space for something else to breathe. This is the bold, beautiful work of our collective rebirth. We aren't just watching a world end; we are midwifing a new way of being that values the nurturing pulse of growth over the reckless drive of ego. Do not fear the dark soil of this New Moon. It is in the quiet, honest depths of our own psyche that the seeds of a liberated world are currently breaking open. Let the old world burn—you were made for the garden that grows from its ashes.

Anchors

Taurus New Moon Reflections

  • Shadow Work Prompt 1: In what areas of my life am I clinging to a rotting version of security—a dead-end job, a toxic habit, or a hollow belief—simply because I am terrified of the unknown that comes after it? What part of this corpse am I still trying to perform CPR on, and what would happen if I finally let it go?

    • Mantra: I release what no longer serves me to make room for the growth. My security is found in my own sovereign breath.

  • Shadow Work Prompt 2: How have I used logic or practicality as a weapon to silence my intuition? Where am I repeating the state’s script of “this is just how things are” to avoid the discomfort of building something entirely new?

    • Mantra: I reclaim my mind from the architecture of extraction. My imagination is a tool for liberation, not a resource for the status quo.

• Shadow Work Prompt: Look at where you feel the most friction between your social reputation and your wild, unpolished truth. What part of yourself have you suppressed to fit into the box of social expectations, and what dark truth is that suppressed part trying to tell you today?

• Mantra: I honor friction as a signal for growth. My authenticity is more valuable than my social performance.

Tuesday, May 12

• Shadow Work Prompt: Identify a specific emotional habit or attachment that keeps you hemorrhaging energy. If you were to apply the intense heat of total honesty to this wound, what would you have to burn away to let a healthy scab finally form?

• Mantra: I am brave enough to burn away the rot.

Wednesday, May 13

• Shadow Work Prompt: Dig into your healing toolbox and find the tool you usually avoid—the one that requires the most presence. Why do you fear your own power when it is directed toward justice, and what happens when you finally stop playing small?

• Mantra: I claim my right to be fiercely alive.

Thursday, May 14

• Shadow Work Prompt: Your survival wounds are shouting today. Trace the history of a specific fear that tells you you are not safe unless you are productive or compliant. How can you nurture the pioneer within you while acknowledging that healing is a messy, non-linear cycle?

• Mantra: I allow my healing journey the space it needs.

Friday, May 15

• Shadow Work Prompt: As the world of capital contracts, where do you feel the most resistance to the inevitable change? What earthly comfort are you using as a shield against the winds of evolution?

• Mantra: I am the lotus; I easily push through the mud and find the light.

Saturday, May 16 (New Moon in Taurus)

• Shadow Work Prompt: On this fertile New Moon, what raw, unvarnished truth have you been hiding from yourself to protect your ego? If you planted this truth in the ashes of the old world today, what kind of sovereign life would begin to grow?

• Mantra: I plant my intentions in the fertilizer of what has been burned.

Sunday, May 17

• Shadow Work Prompt: Life is a mess, and the collective rebirth requires you to pick up a broom. What specific role in this cleaning process are you uniquely qualified for, and how can you move from surface-level detachment into deep, messy, authentic connection with your community?

• Mantra: I am inherently worthy of existence, connection, care, and my dreams.

Somatic Practice: The Cauterized Release

This practice is designed to help you move from the clutching of the old world into the sovereignty of the new.

  1. The Clutch:

Sit or stand with your feet flat on the ground. Close your eyes and scan your body for where you are white-knuckling your life. It might be a tight jaw, hunched shoulders, or a gripped stomach. Physically ball your fists as tight as you can, mimicking the way we try to save a dying system. Hold this tension for 10 seconds, feeling the exhaustion of it.

2. The Breath of Fire:

To move from the clutch to the initiatory fire, begin a rapid, rhythmic exhale through your nose, snapping your navel toward your spine with each puff. Imagine this heat rising from your belly and moving into your clenched fists. Do this for 30 seconds.

3. The Drop (Allowing the Rot):

On a long, vocalized exhale, suddenly drop your hands and release all tension. Imagine the things you were clutching falling to the floor and turning into dark, rich soil. Let your arms hang heavy.

4. Rooting in the Compost:

Visualize the heat you created in your belly moving down through your legs and into that new soil. Feel the weight of your body being supported not by a building or a bank account, but by the Earth itself.

5. The Sovereignty Stretch:

Slow your breath. On an inhale, slowly reach your arms out wide and then up, as if you are midwifing your own presence into the room. Stand in the V shape of a pioneer. Acknowledge that you are standing on the ruins of the old world, yet you are fully alive, fully centered, and ready to begin the work.
